Delicious dark berries, earth, mineral, and a bit of Cayuse funk on the nose and rich silky palate with soft tannins on the long finish. Drinking beautifully!

Decanted four hours, which opened it up nicely. Followed ‘17 Edith, paired with steak frites and Hamilton rewatch. Soft upfront, incredibly concentrated. Probably my least favorite Christophe offering, but still brilliant.

My wife and I had this at the 4/5/19 release party. It had a tight, restrained nose of black currant, black cherry, tobacco, scorched earth, herb, licorice and spice aromas. The palate was tight and dense with flavors of black currant, black cherry, tobacco, licorice, herb and spice. 92+

A big wine. Still quite young. Had it opened for about 3 hours for dinner. Would suggest sitting on your bottles for a few years.
