  First time to try this wine - PnP, Dark purple and opaque - has the look of a bruiser. REALLY LOVELY NOSE of cassis, dark berries and tar. Very ripe on the palate with flavors that match the nose. Nice burst of acidity on the finish that keeps the wine from being syrupy. I prefer a more structured, Bordeaux-like wine, but the rich, ripe flavors were terrific.

  Opened for two hours and then brought to the club for dinner where they decanted it for us. Dark fruit with hints of mocha on the nose. The palate was dark berries, plums, tobacco, mocha and hints of spice leading to moderately long finsih.
