(Beringer Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Single Vineyard St. Helena Home Vineyard) Very dark red violet color; reticent, plum, cassis and violet nose; soft, but tight, tart plum palate with low acidity and drying tannins; medium finish 87+ pts. (valley floor fruit; only sold at winery)

At Scalini Fideli in Chatham - awesome dinner organized by Jay. Late add for the tasting notes, had to hunt down full description. This was a really great wine
Prunes on the nose which was somewhat lacking. In the mouth, chocolate, and dark fruit but less than the nose. It had great balance and mouth feel. Great viscosity and and a very long very like finish. WOTN for about half the crowd - #3 for me with some strong competition
