Opened at restau. Next day it is pale yellow, nose of pear, lime peel. Good concentration, taut structure including a little tannin. This is still a baby.

Light gold color. Drank 2 glasses over an hour plus. Limestone, slate, and Meyer lemon dominate the nose with a little sea air emerging over time. The palate is focused with limestone, tart lime, lemon-lime, very crisp, mineral driven, nice dry extract, medium bodied, with a medium finish. Very nice as always.

Arnot Robert consistently makes a terrific glass of Chardonnay, and not for a crazy price. Perfectly resolved & elegant w/ weightless energy & class. This btl reminds more of Ler Cru Chassagne Montrachet. I think the constant references to Chablis reflects too many drank too soon after release. This is my last '17 & I'll gladly grab more '17s if I see any? Pale gold color. Refreshing florals complimented by citrus, stone fruit, minerality & spice on a pristinely pure & graceful palate. 12.5% Alc I'll be perfectly happy if this wine & the SC Mt AVA never, becomes a big deal! Outstanding chardonnay from anywhere! Great tonight with grilled whole sea bream!

Really good, with some sweetness in the fruit. Really nice food wine with lobster. Years of life left.

A little bit of smokiness on the nose. Tart apple, minerals. Really good, but very young.
