Appearance: youthfully bright, medium violet, essentially no staining, med tearing, no sediment, no rim variation
Nose: clean, youthful, med+ intensity, charred red bell pepper, strawberry, raspberry, black cherry, violet, bay leaf, crushed gravel, tobacco, smoke, tilled soil
Palate: med+acid, med tannin, med body, med intensity, med alcohol (12.5%), med+ finish, ripe strawberry, raspberry, black cherry, ripe red plum, bay leaf, violet, crushed gravel, cedar, smoke
Overall: A delightful, savory, aromatic young cab franc with solid fruit. Could use a bit more intensity/depth on the palate, but overall a very representative Bourgeuil. Absolutely delicious to my palate, and a great value.

Very light bodied. Lots of dried herbs, light acid, light fruit. A really lovely wine with some dark fruit, earth. Dark acidic finish. This is a steal at this price ($10). Drinking well, not a largely fruity wine, but has the structure to age a bit.

Superb juice. Incredible depth and juiciness without being the least bit cloying. Unctuous, glycerin notes, blueberries and length. An insanely good bottle of wine at 3x the price.

Enjoyed over two nights pairing against a lentil with sausage dish and a hearty vegetable-pasta soup and this worked well, however it was riper and more fruit forward than typical. All of the background notes are there and it's a balanced effort made to enjoy at the table. Nice QPR.

Now that’s what you call a terrific Bourgueil and an out of the park value. Sweet, structured, easy and yet not simple. Killer little wine.
