Cherry, raspberry, cumin, powerful fruitful nose; structured and well-shaped; a little tannic and closed but elegant and prolonged; not exceptional but very good and enjoyable to drink

Brilliant medium red. Exubérant red berry and floral nose - layered. This is light in the mouth but impressively concentrated with nuanced red berry fruit. A crisp, mineral finish. Very pretty! Twenty four hours later this has blossomed and there is more of everything and has a decade more to go. Amongst several experienced Burgundy tasters, with 12 bottles opened, this was voted as “the wine I would buy”. The 2013 Bruno Clair Clos de Beze was the top wine.

Bright medium red. Nose shows light and attractive/smoky reduction along with precise cherry fruit. Silky, precise and delicious in the mouth with good concentration. A lovely mineral tang along with moderate tannin at the end. Bravo - good value for 1er cru. It opened significantly after 6 hours open.
