Lovely, light & beautifully balanced. Light fruit, wood & coffee beans on the nose. I get a mix of red fruit & cherry with a hint of pepper/spice at the end. Very much enjoyed this.

Burgundy WIMPS #170 27th October 2023 (La Trompette, Chiswick): The youngest of our wines. On pouring there is a smoky gaminess to this with layers of red fruits, some spice and a little white pepper. Palate shows the wine's youth with tannins needing a little more time. After an hour there is a venison carpaccio character to this with a hint of cherry Tunes. First of 6 look forward to the other 5 over time.
