  • Quite juicy with olive aroma all over as well as blackberries and herbs. Drinks nicely.

  • Opened and decanted an hour ahead of roasted pork sausage and root vegetables. Incredible floral nose, but the medium palate is still closed and compact. Drink 2022-2028. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 90.

  • P&p. As soon as the cork was out of the bottle my nose told me I was in for a treat. Drinking well right away. Rich, spicy/peppery, dark fruit and olives, with anise and thyme, and some nice savory, earthy/stony depth. Fresh crushed berries and olives on the palate, sappy, saline, with plenty of crunchy acidity, and chewy, rustic, medium-strength tannins. A fleeting touch of Brett barnyard, which works just fine. Delicious. Terrific for its level, and a good value.

  • With a bean stew we drank this 100% Syrah from vineyards between Cornas and the village, the color is dark purple, the olive scent on nose is so strong, and on the palate it's like drinking wine that has been filtered in tapenade.
Absolutely loved it, after a while, the olives rescind a bit and some lavender and Herbes de Provence start to appear, the wine is bright, deep, with a great sense of place, like drinking a young vines Cornas with all the exuberance of youth and some of the complexity and structure. The finish is long and probably one of the better Syrahs we've had in a while.

  • Good typicity, albeit marred IMO by the EA. Notes of licorice pastille, olives and some pepper. A bit of bitterness on the finish. Well made and enjoyable.
