  • Translucent gold color. Very reticent nose, but with some coaxing could pick up some matchstick, apricot, buttered popcorn, and pancake. Medium bodied with medium-to-medium-plus acid. Creamy mouthfeel with loads of lemon curd, along with stone fruit, hitting some wet rocks mid-palate and decent length to the finish. Shed some of the creaminess after about an hour and started to pick up a spritzy/flat sprite character, which I found less appealing, though it eventually came back around bringing on some apple juice flavors in the last few sips. My wife loved this.
