not blind, at the winery Side by side with the 2011. I would go with this one. Balanced, power, length and some roasted aromas. Refreshing acidity. well done. 94

Opened around 2 hours before serving. Poured into Grassl Libertes. Drank alongside a 2008 Doyard Lumieres, which was much richer in style. This had a toasty, smoky, almost skunky nose. Good richness of texture, with lemon zest and more toast on the palate. Solid, but outclassed by the Doyard.

NobleRottersSydney - Hidden Lable Night (Glass Brasserie, Sydney): {cork, 12%} [Guest - Adam] A grand nose indeed; terrific bread, yeast, cheese; the ultimate bakery. Intense & powderful. Polished palate of impressive integrity. Rich, creamy texture, tropically rich yellow fruits, medium acid, full weight, fine creamy bubbles, long finish. Much wow factor. Hugely drinkable. Fabulous stuff.

Taste consists of bread, yeast, citrus, squeezed lime juice, apple and some light flowers.
Feels like a young Krug and has a rather high dosage of acid.
I still wish for a more complex and rounded bouquet.
Tasted excellent to strawberries!
