Weekly tasting group RWP #261: Leftovers (@ DJ): Beautiful bouquet with smoke, vanilla, oak, minerals and flint stone. Quite expressive bouquet. On the palate a bit fat, yellow fruits, vanilla, yellow apple, mild acidity and a good length. Nice wine!

Not sure about this wine, this is the first a few I have and normally I would not try a blend of these two varietals. It's zesty, pungent and very fruity as well as good acidity, the initial aroma and taste is unsual but you can appreciate the winemaking quality in here. Need to try another soon to really give it a proper review.

I came across this wine while looking for something a little different. Nice summer wine with a complex palate of honey, peaches and melon and refreshing acidity.

Consumed over 3 sittings, gassed between screwcap resealings each time. Floral, honey and apricot abound with a pure and crisp finish. Was a bit overpowering (floral) early on, but on the second day was markedly better and these characteristics remained but had softened. The third sitting was about 5 days later and the wine had lost quite a bit of flavor at that point, but was certainly still enjoyable. Day 1= 87 D2=90 D3=85
