Let sit for ~6 hours after pop. Beautiful strawberry on the nose and in the mouth, diving deep into a earthy, slightly herbaceous core with slight hints of chocolate and mint, then pulls back up with a nice pop of citrus acidity on the finish. Wow. Stunning. Mea culpa, I was totally wrong about how good this had the potential to get.

Med translucent burgundy in the glass. Tasted in Grassl Cru after 4 hours in the decanter over a 2 day period. I get tons of strawberry on the nose with hints of orange peel and mushroom. Upon PNP, the wine was light in weight with nice Strawberry and cherry notes with that orange peel in the mix. Great bracing acidity through with really nice fine tannins playing with the acid on the finish. After 2 days in the decanter, it picked up weight and heft in the palate—nice notes of tobacco and cigar box along with the fruit on the nose. The palate is similar but with more heft. Getting more earth and even a hint of coffee on the med finish. Tastes a bit lighter than its indicated 13.8% ABV. Hard to believe this is $20 Pinot Noir.

Crunchy red fruit up front and into the earthy core, leading towards a decently bright finish. Easy. This one is pretty consistent vintage-to-vintage, which isn't as fun or as typically Willamette Valley, but also seems appropriate for the price point.

Deep color in the glass suggesting a full-bodied wine. Nose shows some earthy notes, oak, and red fruit. Palate corresponds with appearance and nose - a juicy, rich Pinot that is well balanced, and a fantastic QPR at $15.75/bottle. Easy enjoyable drinking and crowd pleasing too.
