  All around stunner. So delicate and so powerful. Fresh squeezed grapes mixed with careful aging and real terroir. So good the glasses go by way to fast ... not all that contemplative just so damn good.

  Upon first opening, the nose was truly incredible. Perfumed and floral and brightly fruity, and so complex as to seem it was bursting with a dozen more elements. One of those wines you want to smell over and over before taking a sip. On the palate it's smooth and silky, firmly anchored in mineral and terroir, with medium acidity. Settles into pleasant cherry and red berry flavors, with a kiss of tartness.

  On the nose, savory earth, forest berry more than cherry fruit, red licorice, and leather. It's supple, mid weighted, and stony with a sense of minerality, with a nice mix of savory, spice, leather, and fruit. Quite good and very interesting in a more savory mode.
