Wow. The freshness on this thing is unreal—so ripe, tangy, and alive! A clear ruby hue that borders on rosé with so much lightness and lift—but the deep flavors of sweet red berries and savory black pepper, dried flowers, herbs and crushed gravel are proud and shockingly long. Theres so much verve that my skin tingles with each taste, and with air some banana is peeking out so makes sense there may be some crazy yeast action still at play here. I've never had a Beaujolais-Villages anywhere near this good and bought a handful more today. Given it’s depth and vibrant acidity this one has startling presence now and years of graceful aging ahead of it.

the nose shows chalk, flowers and ripe red cherries, juicy and lively on the palate, this expresses freshness, bright red fruit character, mineral and maybe a hint of mint, very much easy to drink with refreshing acid and lifted character, paired with shoyu-orange braised chicken thighs

Red fruit (cherry, slight strawberry), minerality, nice spice. A bit light but elegant. Good acidity. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable.

Better than most cru Beaujolais I've had. A fantastic expression of gamay.
