Pale yellow gold with greenish hues toward the rim a transparent edge. The nose gives off buttery notes of green apple and pears with hints of vanilla. The palate is fresh with medium plus acidity that balances some hints of pineapple and apricot and carries through the saline mineral-filled finish with hints of lemongrass. Drink now until 2032.

2017 Bouchard and William Fevres (chicago, IL): The nose is open-knit and springlike with white peaches, pears, apples, white fruits, acacia flowers, saline, and some toast. The Medium bodied feel is playful and elegant with racy, medium+ acidity. This is a fresh and lovely Chassagne. Yes, there is a good bit of youth to it, but it’s well balanced and fresh right now even though it’ll certainly benefit from a few years of age.

A fairly bit creamy on the palate, but served slightly warm.
