There appear to be both pictures of the family reserve and the regular ice wine on this tasting note. This was the Family Reserve. Golden straw in color nose of dried apricots, right peaches, and autumnal spices. Tastes of dried apricots, raisins, and nutmeg. Balanced acidity in fruit at this time. Fruit is more pronounced than the acid so this may be a midterm drinker. But drinking lovely and pairing wonderfully with all sorts of desserts and blue vein cheeses.

Purchased for $4! Real riesling character. Good depth ,balance and acidity. Syrupy texture but not an issue. Would fool many in a blind tasting including me. Suspect it will age well but time will tell.

Very clean wine with a lot of sweetness and beautiful acidity, candied apricots. Really beautiful and concentrated.

May 2021 “Running” Club Outdoor Vintage Pairs Evening (Outside by the firepit in Icy West London): Not gonna lie - things starting to get slightly bleary by this point. With that said - nice balanced icewine, went very well with the delicious Blackberry and Apple cake we served it with. Definitely a bargain at £10 from Lidl.
