  What a pleasant surprise! Got a bit worried after having read other reviews. This wine was very much alive, even vibrant still.
  Nice transparent color, some bricking, but very fine, with good legs.
  On the nose very fruity, cherry, cola and some musty scents, but not unpleasant.
  Sweet taste, typically new world pinot, but very good.

  Pre-dinner w/SES on Cape. Very good fill. Color good-no sign of browning at edges or 'wateriness'. Tannins shed but fruit still concentrated. A very nice surprise; expected to be well past prime

  At home. Vibrant expression of Pinot Noir - in every way. Brilliant medium ruby with legs galore. Nose tends toward cola notes, intermixed with pretty rose petals. Lovely silky and rounded mouthfeel that gives way to rich, flavory cherry-like fruit on the palate, with a long, lovely finish. This wine is elegant and seamless yet not without plenty of body and grip. Awesome wine. 5-13-17-9: 94/100
