at first light and bright cherry red..nice acidity and mineralogy with tart cherry taste..open a bit as we drank it and ended with a smooth after taste..excellent with a dried tomato chicken pasta dish

beautiful wine..nice dark bright red..herbacious dark fruit upon first sip..wine developed into a medium body complex wine as the evening went on;;the some what mineral and acidic fish brought a rush of tannins ,,not overbearing but firm like a nice handshake..you smacked your lips for minutes on the finish..really enjoyed

I served this in my wine course. Slight natural wine nose, with also black cherry. Light bodied earthy mouth. Long, well balanced finish with dusty tannins. Always enjoy Occhipinti's wines, and this meets expectations.

Having thoroughly enjoyed Arianna’s Cerasuola I was initially disappointed with this one. On reflection think it’s just too soon to drink this wine. Mild black cherry on the palate along w M++ tannins and M+ acid. It comes across to me as disjointed right now with a blast of tannins immediately followed by the acid. Fruit is there but takes a back seat. True to the profile of Nero d’Avola and 12% ABV. I’d say give it 2 more years in the bottle to integrate a bit.

Very nice wine. Bright tart fruits — tart cherries and cranberries.
