  Unlike others, I didn't find this over-ripe or over-extracted/stewed, although alcohol was 14.5%. Tannins were pretty smooth already. Ripe fruit and decent complexity. Good value at $20.

  Nose of stewed fruits, some cherries and wet earth. Medium body, not a lot of depth. Pallete of stewed plums, some tabacco. Not what I’d drink again.

  More restrained in style, but with concentrated fruit alongside notes of tobacco, spice, and green bell pepper.
