  • Stemmy due to whole cluster.
Lots of beetroots and BSA. A bit too natural wine-y for me

  • Nose is damp soil, some VA, eucalyptus. High acid, savory black olive, some tart cherry, more (yes) forest floor. Unfortunately the VA is still there on the finish, or else this would be perfect. It’s still very good, just a little on the funkier side than I like.

  • Robe bourgogne claire. Beau nez, vin légèrement trouble. Aromes de fruit, framboise et boisé. Assez rond en bouche, bien équilibré avec du corps. Décanté 30min, boire frais.

  • Appearance: cloudy medium intense ruby/burnt orange color.

Nose: medium-intense aromas of wet forest/pine resin, cranberry, and orange

Palate: medium bodied, bone dry, light tannins, medium(+)/high acid, lean with a slight oily mouthfeel. Medium(-) flavors of resin and cranberry with some savory tomato leaf notes. Medium/medium(+) complexity, medium (-) balance due to disconnect between acid and fruit (I also wish that it had a little bit more RS), medium(+) length oaky and light red fruit finish.

This wine is pretty "natty" and not your typical pinot noir. Lighter flavors and bolder acid and oak. Personally, it comes off a bit too strong for me, but if you're into old-school lambic sour beers you'll probably enjoy this.

  • Fresh pale red color and fruit-juice like semi-cloudy texture. Nose of the expected red berries. Succulent and fresh pinot in mouth. Less affected from stem pressing and natural yeast than expected, good barrel use with a very refined and mild touch of oak. Almost simple, for lack of better description, yet very good with an already well integrated palette of what an easy going light pinot red can bring. Simultaneously refreshingly quaffable and intriguingly balanced. Recommended for a non-complex terrasse glass of red.
