Great vintage. Still a full palette of delectable fruit but cleaner & more refined than the 2014. Very easy drinking & doesn't need more time at this point. Get on it, enjoy.

By the glass at the BA lounge, LHR. No clue when this was opened but frankly at this age we doubt it would make a difference. Textbook for what it stands for, sweet ripe dark fruit, dark dense colour with purple edge, lots of spice, juicy ripe fruit and soft and silky tannin. One needs to like the style too here. Not a bad or poor wine in any sense, just of a style not for our palate and even among that style on the simple side. 88-89 from us and drink sooner than later.

Not full notes as drank in the airport.
Pronounced on the nose with lots of ripe black fruit - blackberry, black plum, black cherry, licorice, vanilla and charred wood.
Pronounced on the palate with high ripe tannins, nice acidity and finish.
Can drink now but has potential for aging.
Wish I could have had a second glass!

Blackberry jam nose. Big, rich and ripe palate; luscious finish.
