This was very enjoyable! Opened up nicely with a bit of air and time in the glass. I think this embraces a slightly darker style of Chambolle, with quite a lot of meat and darker fruits, but still drinking very well. Long finish and clean too. Excellent village Chambolle and great QPR still.
In a good spot right now, but I think there is some upside at play here, with the potential to become a bit more expressive. I'd see how this is in 2+ years, but if you do want to drink now, make sure you give it enough air!

Drinks very well now It is a modern burgundy with quite a bit new oaks which clearly shows. Made from a mix of village wine and two de-classified 1er crus - according to my wine dealer.
For a Village level the intensity and length is very good. Mocca and hints of spice is more dominant than the more discreet fruit flavors (black currant and dark cherries).
Can surely be kept longer and develop where one can hope that the wine would “slim up” and show more minerality and fruit. That being said it tastes really well now and is a very well made wine

Opened in HK. P&P and enjoyed slowly.
