Dark fruits, luscious. Not as ethereal as the last time I had it, but there's enough there that this is going to be real special with a few more years on it.

The aroma here is so delightfully perfumed, you find yourself drawn to it, sniffing involuntarily with high frequency. It has delicious red fruits, purple flowers and a hint of spice. It floats across the palate, delivering a flavour hit to every crevice of the mouth. It is only Village wines but has Grand Cru breadth and complexity. The finish is super-fine and extremely persistent.

Tasted at Skurnik Grand Portfolio Tasting in NYC. Superbly balanced if a little light on the tannin, so drinking easily now with a great finish. Medium+ acidity, finessed with a mineral backbone and light energetic red fruit. Enjoyable now and probably for the next 5 + years but probably not one for a long time in the cellar.
