  • For every brittle tannic 93 red Burg I pull from my cellar, I get one like this that is absolutley magical. First of all, I find it hard to believe that this is only village booze. I would never guess it. This wine had amazing dark garnet color, still bright. The nose exploded roasted beets with herbs from the glass. Great weight and richness on the pallet. This maybe one of the best village wines that I have ever had.

  • Mostly blackish red with slight amber tinge at the edge. Tight red fruit nose. Closed at first with a firm tannic frame. Seemed unburgundy-like. Later opened to reveal truer characteristics but remained very firm and tannic. Doesn’t seem ready.
