Random wines tasted during service (Oinoscent): The bottle was opened 20.00 and tasted 21.20, Grenache and Syrah -/- The wine shows high intensity in the nose, bright and juicy, with red and black fruits, cherries, currants, firm spice frame, opulent, fresh and welcoming with layers upon layers In the palate, the wine is very fresh again, juicy, mostly red fruit here, big tannins but not aggressive, a few herbal notes, again nice spice frame, elegant despite its strength (in desperate need of patience as it is), full body, nice acidity, a touch of Rhone-gamey character, long finish Still an infant, outstanding quality with a long life ahead

Most likely one of the most powerful wines I have had in recent years - five to six hours decant + pause over night necessary for fair review. Animalic, fruit-driven and full-bodied+, this wine is on fire from start to finish. Plenty of tobacco, blackberries and blueberries, touch of forest raspberries, smoke and spice, black olives. Extreme complexity. Finishes on a slightly bitter note. Many more years to come for this one. Arguably not my glass of wine at the moment.

Very good. The Syrah dominates and I believe this will become even better with another couple years. Powerful.

Complex with lots of thick dark fruit, spices and licorice. Good acidity and very long with ripe tannins.

From CV. Quite stunning, lots of dark fruit, sous bois, spices. Powerful but enough acidity to maintain freshness. Excellent QPR.
