  This was pretty tasty and a good value. Kind of strong and disjointed upon opening but it mellowed out. Lacked freshness.

CDP blancs are always a treat, and that holds true here! I honestly believe this needs a few years to integrate, but really was a neat wine tonight.

  Southern Rhône trip with Rainer. Tasted at the Domaine, with knowledgeable Véronique. 40% Grenache, 40% Roussanne, 20% Clairette (Grenache and Roussanne were aged in oak, 25% new). €26. White and exotic fruit, white peach, pineapple, herbal notes and mild spice. Medium to full and very creamy, but with some freshness. Well-balanced and already drinkable despite of its youth. A lovely CdP Blanc! I bought a few bottles. 91+ for now.
