  Liked it at the Chanson cellar tasting two years ago. Absolutely love it now! Fresh minerality, melon, lemon zest and toasted brioche. Unbelievably rich bouquet. On the palate flavors of ripe pear and nuances of almond and white flowers. The finish is long, with a lingering acidity.
  It’s so perfect I can’t imagine this would improve in the coming years.

  Top quality, does what only classy white burg can do- the interplay of gently spiced and smoky oak notes, purity of lemon and grapefruit, honey, butter, stone and toasted nuts is balanced superbly well and is totally cohesive. The palate doesn’t quite live up to the lofty nose- real breadth and a touch of viscosity, fresh and concentrated but without quite the explosive complexity you’d hope for. Finish is decent. Overall it’s pretty wonderful
