Really delicious Syrah coming out of Northern Rhone. Juicy and complex.
Wild aromatics. Nose shows boysenberry, ripe black plum, black liquorice, clove, pepper and earthy notes.
On the palate this wine is medium-bodied, juicy and lively with soft, smooth tannins, crisp acidity and a touch of heat in the throat.
Flavours of tobacco, liquorice, black plum, black pepper, wet earth and some interesting funk. Some different meat notes as well.
Can age but really enjoyable right now.
