  • Glassware: Grassl Cru
Prep: Pop n' pour, followed over 3 days

Pretty nose of black cherries, cherry cordial, potpourri, and a touch of woodsmoke and dried herbs. Deep on the palate with a nice purity of black cherry, gamebird, and wet soil flavors, complemented by tangy acids and fine-grained tannins that are starting to resolve. The balanced core of fruit and mineral notes persists long on the finish. I'm sure this will get more interesting with time, but nice to enjoy right now as well.
