  This wine is growing on me a little. Cold pear nose, not giving up much. A bit of sweet pear that carries into the mouth. But it’s soft around the edges with a surpisingly charming core of understated bitter, with the sweet finish competing with the bitter. Long finish. Not a great wine by any means but for a warm spring or summer evening, served cold, opening a little while it warms in the glass - this is a very few bucks spent pretty well.
