Compared to the 2 bottles I had last November, time in the cellar has benefitted this wine, which was initially too tropical and fruit-dominant for how I like Sancerre. Now, more restrained, still showing some tropical fruit, but moreso citrus-pith and a mild herbal quality, closer to classic. Perhaps nothing special but a solid QPR Sancerre.

Drunk this in december and felt it lacked precision. Second bottle. Classic Sauvignon, cats pee, gooseberry etc, nice acidity, no real minerality. Perhaps a crowd pleaser, but for the price cannot complain. I do not think this qwill profit from ageing.

Usual Sancerre, with hints of flint/slate as the area has a mix of soils.

Loire tasting Sydney 2019 (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): cat's pee and passion fruit, very slight gunflint. Sharply acidic, a slight buttery note here with muted passion fruit. Meh.
