Tasting at Louis Jadot (Beaune): Nice pepper notes to the red fruited aromas. The lightest of the CSJ/LSJ/ESJ trio with a very fresh and acid-driven profile. Nicely balanced and should age well. 90-92

Burgundy, Day 1 (Beaune, France): My least favourite of the three St. Jacques wines. Significantly thinner than the other two, and there's a slight weediness to the palate here. The fruit profile is very light as well, veering more to the strawberry side. Not sure this is showing as it should.

Gevrey spices here with cinnomon-cardomon, small black foresty berries; good lift, fresh berries, feels "lightness" with grippy t's in the finish. Like this GCham. Jadot Tasting at Angler

Louis Jadot 2018 Vintage en Primeur Barrel Tasting (Brasserie Margeaux - Chicago IL): Walk around tasting. From barrel sample that was assembled in the fall and shipped to the US then. Black cherry, cooked spice and raw meat. Very Gevrey with good power. Lots of baby fat here that needs to soften, but easily 90-91+ point potential.
