Tasted at the Wine & Spirits Top 100 Symposium in NYC. Aged for 15 months in 47% new French oak. Made from the best barrels of the vintage from various Estate vineyard blocks. Well balanced but more structured than the Flat Block bottling. I thought this was also likely to be much longer lived with good depth of flavor and length on the finish. Characteristic Pinot flavors of cherry, spice and rose petals.

OR/WA Sept 2019; 9/3/2019-9/7/2019: Shallow soils from the vineyard just off the terrace at the winery. Much more fruit on the nose, much less oak apparent too. suave palate, subtle oak and spice

Pinot in the City (Chicago, IL): Walk-around tasting, brief note. A definite step up here. Also bright and elegant red cherry with good energy from middle-through-finish. Good weight. Best to enjoy in the next few years.
