  • I used to be able to source Bodegas Naia's Naiades easily as the NH State stores regularly carried it. Unfortunately, I have not seen this in years there and this is my last bottle of any vintage.

Color/App: medium-deep straw yellow core with medium viscosity. Bouquet of grapefruit and pears, kiwi, white flowers and a touch of caramel. I've always been a fan of old vine Verdejo and this is usually one of the best, coming from ancient, low-producing, pre-phyloxera vines that is then aged in oak. Needs time to come around and this nine year old white feels (and looks) much younger than its true age. Palate mirrors the nose and shows excellent acidity and length. Great stuff and a testament to how well Verdejo can age.
