Beautiful nose of tropical fruits, some candied citrus, a prairie grass feel. As this wine warms, the nose took on some yeasty and great papaya notes. Just a great balance of creaminess and acidity. Quite vibrant and fresh. The tropical citrus flavors really showed up tonight. Really nice served with a Creamy Turnip Soup and Seared Scallops. This was drunk from a magnum, and it was remarkably fresher than the 750 we had about 6 months ago.

Surprised to find this knocking around the "cellar" for so long. Others have voiced concern about over the top and I was likewise concerned. As it turns out, although the freshness of fruit may have faded a little, the patina of age added dimension. A nice deep yellow in the glass, and a nose that spoke of minerals and mown hay. The word here is minerality: an abundance of terroir on the palate, with bracing acidity, enough to cut through any salad dressing, and I thought gooseberry. Every fridge should have such a bottle for any occasion. Super value.

This probably should've been drunk earlier, and I was a little concerned before opening, but the Naiades still delivered. A little deeper gold than the last bottle I drank. Still a wonderful nose of peach, jellied lemon candy and tropical fruits. The evolution of the bouquet as it opens and warms is a thing of beauty. The mouth was still bright, creamy fruits. A lovely, lovely wine.

Kiwi and ripe melons on the nose. Not much flavor; decent finish. Definitely need to finish this wine soon.
