Hits off on the nose with green apple and toasted almond hints, still fresh and fruit forward in a youthful Meursault fashion, full on the palate with lifted acids, dynamic now, sense of entirety, nice grippy fruit, apple, pear, green grape and mineral, drinking well now

Poorer than its pedigree would suggest. This was just an ordinary villages Meursault. No flaws, other than the label. I don't have a suggestion of how to fix the problem -- that's up to the vlllage officials to police. But somebody ought to police it, or else the previously highly-rated,"Meursault", will become devalued because if inaccurate labelling.

{Bought on release, #2 of 6, sound cork} Essence of Meursault. Great villages. Lovely long 2017 depth of flavor, textured and fullish, would say a bit more depth and a touch less incisive acidity compared to the 2014. (I think this wine is better). Not a lightweight wine but not heavy either. Real quality here and a great match with fish with capers and lemon... Would have reported how it held up overnight but piratical family finished the bottle!

Excellent village level Meursault. Tropical and lemon fruit with a good mineral backbone. The acidity is at a good level to keep some tension and balance in the wine. It is a delicate Meursault but it gains depth and weight as it airs. I had it over the course of 3 hours. Better at the end than in the beginning. Good stuff.
