  • Mistakenly included in a lot of California Cabernets, but no hard feelings...
This wine showed extremely well despite/because of its advanced age.
high shoulder fill, cork nearly fully saturated but still holding together.
Hue quite extraordinary for its age. Could have passed for a 10 year old bottle.
The cedar was very present on the nose originally, but subsided fairly rapidly.
Classic Cabernet Sauvignon aromas with currant, cedar, spices. still a little fruit left, which i find remarkable.
Elegantly balanced wine with soft tannins, great complexity and considerable length. The tannins are present but not agressive.
12.0 5 alc. the american oak shows up a little but in a nice way.
where do I find more of this?
