No formal notes taken. A top quality cooler climate pinot noir that I often prefer to the more heavily oaked Brother's Reserve. Lighter bodied. Refreshing acidity. Mainly red berried. Plenty of sous bois. Herby and earthy with a little natural wine funk (meant as a positive descriptor). Under screwcap, I’d drink over the next 10 years.

T....Wow, very different from a boring Nose: rich fruit but real depth of earthy character, very much a Burgundian style away from the typical NZ Pinot, warm and spicey, nice forest floor/bramble/herbals too, seductive complexity. Tasted at trade tasting where I was spitting all day - I couldn't spit this out.
Rec RP £42.00......worth every penny
