As in my previous notes, a top NZ pinot. Some amber at the rim, a lighter garnet colour. Attractive aromatics. Cinnamon, nutmeg, raspberry and strawberry with some thyme and other dried herbs. On palate, elegant and refined but more substance and power than I remembered. Red fruited - red cherries and strawberries, in particular - mixed spices, earth and herbs, some cut hay. Silky mouthfeel, suave tannins. Acids in harmony. Under screwcap, it'll gently evolve over many years (10+, easily), developing more savoury nuance. 93+.

Red-fruited with fresh fruit in focus. Light draw ate ginger and toffee. Somewhat restrained and without great nuance.
In taste, this is confirmed with a palpable oak barrel character that goes to bourbon vanilla. This also gives a slight bitterness in the ending along with a marked acid that hangs around. Oak barrels and acidity feel separate from fruit that doesn't deliver in concentration and makes the finish feel a little short.
I might be a bit harsh on this wine and with time I believe the acidity will soften a bit and the fruit open up more.

Zoom Greystone Tasting with Dom Maxwell. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of dark red cherries, dark herbaceousness, wild flowers. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, meidum alcohol, medium tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of dark red cherries, sweet red plums, dark herbs, savoury earth, potpourri, dark licorice. Long sweet and savoury finish. Very good quality. Quite different and unique. Time will tell how this is going to develop and turn out.

Nothing to add to my previous note. I see Jancis Robinson rates the wine 17.5/20 and Rebecca Gibbs for Vinous 95 points. Not just a top NZ pinot noir but absolutely World class. In my opinion, the 2019 is the best vintage of this cuvée. 94+.

New Zealand London Annual Trade Tasting (Lindley Hall, Royal Horticultural Halls): The barrels are left in the vineyard !
The wine shows freshness, full on fruity, a touch warm, medium to full body, medium acidity and tannins, nice
