Unpretentious (like The Big Easy himself), and better than expected. Red berries and oak on the nose initially; blue and smokier notes (from the shiraz) arrived after a good swirl. You can taste the young vines on the fresh, fruit-forward palate. Medium bodied; shortish finish. So, this isn't Stephan Asseo, but the Cab-Shiraz blend is a nice departure from the usual Bordeaux facsimile from SA or NZ.

Interesting blend of Shiraz, Cabernet, Mouvedre, Cinsault, Viognier. Very nice field blend type quality …what’s not to enjoy?

Good value for money. Minimal aroma of red fruit but just a nice balance on taste. Good tannins. Would buy again

Tannins too dominant, I'll give it some more years.

Smoke one the nose. Red berries, bacon fat and a lot of vanilla from oak on the palette. Acidity. The Shiraz strikes as dominant
