Henry Marionnet is a wizard with Gamay. This entry level cuvée (c.€7) has juicy fruit, minerals and tangy acidity and is fun to drink just like the more ambitious Premières Vendanges cuvée. The only difference is a tad more rusticity. Good wine and a candidate for repurchase.

Still as delightful as before at close to cellar temperature. However in a 30°+ ambient temperature, it coarsened quickly. Keep it cool. Then good.

Popped and poured. Fragrant aroma of sweet berry. Smooth flavors of black fruit, cinnamon. Cinnamon and minerals dominate the finish.
Firm backbone, attractive flavors, great staying power, some complexity. Classic Loire gamay, and outstanding QPR.
