I first tried this at the Wine Connection (Pound Ridge, NY) as part of a Polaner tasting. Out of the 6 or 7 wines, this one hit me as something special. It shows a lot of Grenache character, with more ripeness than I expected and (yay!) no oak influence. On top of the beautiful fruit, there was a silky texture and polish. This was about $13/bottle; truly a great value. Even better on day 2.

Lighter in color, beautiful. Legs hold well on the glass. Nose of raspberry, jasmine. Medium dry, higher tannin, very smooth finish

That is really good - spicy and focused. Direct and lovely. Tons of fruit but great earthiness notes Andrew.

Appealing and easy drinking. Prominent Grenache in a harmonious Rhone blend. Very good acid.
