  • Another lovely bottle of this. A perfect 2nd wine for the end of an evening when the 1st bottle runs out and you want something light and not too fancy. Poured straight from the cellar w/o decanting. 12.5% and tons of flavor. No bricking. No cheap oak. Nose is a bit simple, but pleasant. Fruit is a little lackluster, but still tasty. Earthy, tart cherry, some subtle mushrooms showing up. Nice acidity. Very fine tannins linger along with the fruit to give it a nice long finish. Amazing qpr on this. I would drink up in the next year or so as it lacks the stuffing to grow old (I plan to finish my last two by the end of 2022).

  • This is still delicious. Tons of tasty fruit, acidity (racing), and very fine tannins (lots of them) with pretty nice grip. Finish is medium length. It's a bit of a light mouthfeel, but that doesn't really hurt the enjoyment of the wine. Only 12.5%, which is awesome to see (and drink). Great stuff. Amazing value at $25.

  • Was a bit closed upon opening - getting better with time. Fairly dark wine, tannic. Fairly full bodied. Mildly enjoyable nose at this point, but hopefully will be better with time. Flavor ok, not great. Try again in a year. Finished the wine 3 days later - delicious.
