  Mostly dark fruit: raisins, dark cherries. Reminiscent of cherry cola, maybe. Rather pleasant but not special. Time to drink up if you got any.

  Perhaps the best petite sirah I've had. Obviously this is a big wine, but also smooth, with no sign of either alcohol or sugar, and well-integrated tannins. Dark fruits, and really notable sandalwood. At its best on 2nd night, but excellent the first too. I don't think this will get any better with time, but I see no sign of its demise either.

  Wow, for $30 this is really an amazing bottle of wine. Dark and crystalline color. Super concentrated dark fruits. Wonderful balance with background tannin and a just right touch of acidity. Wish I had more. Drink or hold.

  This wine was good but had almost too much concentrated fruit. I am going to hold my last bottle a few years to see if the fruit fades a little.

  Found in back of cellar. P n p. Big as expected. Somewhat monolithic. Big dark fruits. Tannins still present. Held up to lamb dinner. Still alive on night 2.
