Another great vintage of this wine. This probably needed every year that I gave it. Deeper and more red fruited than the 15/16. I loved it though and it got better over hours of air. Crushed an 02 Drappier oenthique next to it. Very good with high end Peruvian food.

Disgorged 2019. Classified as solely Pinot Noir on the label, but the website suggests there is also some chardonnay grown on this parcel. Pours medium- gold with strong bubbles. This is rich, initially driven by tastes of buttered bun with ripe red fruits, balanced out with some green apple and a tad tropical fruit. Quite a dynamic mouthfeel. Will pick up some more!

Disgorged June 2019. Quite distinctive, with lots of umami as well as a tangy, relatively lightweight citrusy body. Tasty but feels somewhat disjointed - and I'm not sure that more time will help, particularly.

Drunk as aperitif and not given enough attention to be able to write a TN, but wonderful champagne.

PNP into Zalto Burgundy glass (“Fruit” day): Pale golden to the eyes.
Florals, lemon curd focused fruits, brioche, savoury spices and toast.
Highly acidic, minerality driven.
93-94 points.
