This is not an overly complicated Chardonnay but it is very refined, feminine and goes superbly well with dark chocolate!
A light yellow that is in transition, it is very perfumed with notes of lemon, beurre bosc pear, ginger and some toastiness. Body is more of the same with some nectarine, apricot and honey thrown in for good measure. Linear finish. It is somewhere between a Chablis and a Mersault. Finish sums up the wine nicely, not one to stretch the mind but one to remind you of the summer that was. A fine wine.
Drink now to 2026+.

Scents of crush hazelnuts and chalk against juicy citrus. Leads with notes of slightly creamy lemon, bruised apples and French herbs. There's a subtle oak influence with a chalkiness and minerality through the finish. Lovely texture, bright and focused. It really grew on me over the evening. Solid on its own, better with food.

This is an absolutely beautiful wine and has the potential to age well for 7+ more years. Nice structure, full bodied without being overly oaky or buttery. Honey, lemon curd and a great finish. Wish I had more.

Creamy citrus, green apple and a little apricot. Nice acidity, subtle oak. Very enjoyable
