Served with beef Ragu Pappardelle...excellent!!! Stood up extremely well!!! Chose it instead of an Amorone because I was experimenting. Not the least disappointed.

This got some oak in it, but delish, fresh n' fruity but rich, pure berry flavors, touch of oak, really really good at this level for sure. Cody's Italian Wine Class Seattle

By the carafe at Lafiandra. Simple fare, but pretty pleasant for a house wine. The nose was quite standard fare for a youngish Valpolicella of this level, with dark plums and blackcurrants along with just an edge of raisins, then little bit of spice and floral herbs. The palate was actually quite pleasant and food friendly, with juicy acidity and a little bite of tannins framing ripe, chewy flavours of plums, currants, and just that hint of raisiny fruit again. At the finish, just a little hint of spice and violet florals showed up. Simple, but yummy enough, and certainly balanced and food friendly - just what you would want for a wine at this level.

Fairly good. Nice bitterness and minerality over fruit. Ends abruptly. Very good value.
