Understated. But there’s still a lot going on in the bouquet and on the palate. Shows off the floral nature of Grenache with the backbone of Petite Sirah. The Roussanne adds nice texture. Dark pitted fruits, crushed rose petals, boysenberry and then minerals in a clipped finish. Might need a few more years in the cellar to reveal all of her charms. But still worth seeking out. Drink now to 2029.

Pretty red fruits and floral notes one the nose. Medium-full bodied. Lively acid, cranberry, blueberry, dried cherry, assertive tannins. Will be really nice in another year.

This was quite unique. Initially this seemed somewhat shut down as the flavors were somewhat subdued. Over the course of three days this opened up onto a very pretty medium weight wine that had a similar textural feel as a pinot from Santa Barbara. This is nothing like a Syrah blend from Paso Robles. This is more delicate and finessed. Such great bright cherry fruit. Most likely this needs 2 years in The cellar.
