Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • I enjoyed this. Medium-light body, reddish color, but some depth to it. Mild all around, but the fruit didn't quite stand up. Still, there was enough going on to be interesting. This is what I'd call an earthy, gravelly wine, but on the light side. Xinomavro isn't something we have every day, and if this is representative, I'd say its somewhat southern-Rhonish, but a little milder. Was $18, which is exactly what Ann said it should have cost without knowing the price. There you have it.
