  Noticed the cork was leaking slightly, otherwise I had ambitions to let this go another year and drink it at 20 years old. Very glad we didn't, because it's a fantastic off-dry Riesling. Floral and apple aromas with just a little bit of petrol, so it definitely has life left in it. Body is remarkably full but still balanced by lively acidity. Great finish. Is drinking very well now, but if your cork is in better shape than this one was, I expect it'll hold just fine for quite a while yet.

  Cork came out with a small "pop" from bottle fermentation. Cork was solid but soaked with signs of seepage. Juice was in good shape. Light sweetness, with simple but traditional nose and palate of lemon, honeysuckle, tree fruit, and hints of funky petrol. No power here, quite light bodied. Easy drinking.
